Fantasy Falafel By: Collin Kilpatrick

Collin "Kool-Aid" Kilpatrick is the Deli's resident Fantasy expert. When he speaks, you will pay complete and total attention. When he writes, you will put down your Hungry Man dinner and read. When he gives advice, you will take notes, highlight those notes with a color-coded scheme and copy them with the intention of passing them down to your grandchildren.

Follow these simple rules and soon you too will be a football genius like Collin. Until that day, just remember this: Fantasy sport is like falafel, it always tastes better when it's served up by a guy named Kool-Aid.

If you would like to be a fantasy master like Kool-Aid, you should go home and stop dreaming. You'll never be as good as he is. However, if you would like him to answer a fantasy question for you, send him an e-mail at fantasyfalafel@gmail.com.

Hey fantasy fans, only two weeks left and then it's bragging and nagging until next year's draft. I hope you're going to be giving your friends a hard time. I hope you're rocking their world in fantasy. But just to be sure you come out on top, here is my fantasy advice for week 14.

1) If any of you were like me and had Kevin Jones, hoping he'd pull it back together for the end of the season, you were fooled. Kevin was placed on IR on Tuesday and is done for the season. Before you totally panic, calm down. Take a deep breath. The world is still spinning and everything will be ok. Probably.

If you need a RB this week, you may be interested in Minnesota Viking running back Artose Pinner. He's not exactly a household name but Pinner got the start in place of the injured Chester Taylor last week and tallied 125 yards and three touchdowns on 29 rushes. Pretty nice numbers; even against a weak Detroit defense.

If Chester doesn't play on Sunday, Mr. Pinner has potential against a Jets rushing defense that gave up 125 yards to Willis McGahee last week and 102 yards to Green Bay's Ahman Green the week before. I wouldn't risk starting Pinner over your tried-and-true RB, but give him a shot if you need him.

2) In the last few weeks, Peyton Manning has been playing ok. Think about that for just a second.

Manning hasn't been horrible -- he is still getting lots of yards but he just hasn't been great, spectacular or first-pick worthy. That said, I think Manning will pull himself together this week because of how badly the Colts have struggled over the last month. After going 9-0, Indy has lost three of their last four games and really has no momentum as the season approaches its end.

If you have Manning though, I think you have to start him this week. You'll hate yourself if he blows it up this week and you have him on the bench. Plus he's playing the 26th ranked Cinncinnati defense, which surrendered 199 passing yards to Aaron Brooks last Sunday. Obviously a team doesn't need talent to be able to throw the ball well against the Bengals in Cinncinnati. It should be even easier when the talented Colts play them at home in two days. It will be a shootout so give Manning the start.

3) This week it's do or die. How much risk you want to take with your team is up to you. Personally I suggest starting players that you think have been consistent throughout the season.

I like to take a risk in places where I have a hole (starting Pinner at RB) but I always start guys like Donte Stallworth down the stretch. Donte has a touchdown in five out of nine games this season, including one against the Giants during the second week of the season. This week Philly goes to New York to play the Giants but watch for Stallworth to get his third touchdown in as many weeks. Stallworth will be starting against a Giants defense which may be without Pro Bowl defensive end Michael Strahan this Sunday.

Alright folks, my only other advice for this week is to check the Weather Channel. It might seems silly but nasty weather in the Northeast or in Seattle could have a huge impact on your players this week. If there is a lot of snow, rain or hail watch for teams to run the ball instead of airing it out this weekend.

If you have not made it this far in the playoffs then thanks for stopping by. If you're still in the mix, then make sure you hit 'em where it hurts this week and go for the ultimate fantasy prize: respect.

Good luck fantasy hopefuls; I'll see you next week for the championship match-up.

Donte Stallworth isn't with the Saints anymore, but he's still makin' catches. Start him this week against the Giants.
